The 911’s front and rear power windows all open or close fully with one touch of the switches, making it more convenient at drive-up windows and toll booths, or when talking with someone outside the car. The MCPura’s rear power window switches have to be held the entire time to open or close them fully.
The 911’s standard power window controls are mounted on the armrest for easy access. The MCPura’s available power window controls are spread out on the center console where they can’t be seen without the driver completely removing his eyes from the road.
The 911’s standard Comfort Access allow you to unlock the doors from either outside door handle, open the trunk, and start the engine, all without removing the key from the pocket or purse. Extended Keyless Go standard on the MCPura doesn’t offer a sensor on the trunk.
To improve rear visibility by keeping the rear window clear, the 911 (except Cabriolet/GT3) offers an optional rear wiper. The MCPura doesn’t offer a rear wiper.
To help drivers avoid possible obstacles, the 911 offers optional cornering lights to illuminate around corners when the turn signals are activated. The MCPura doesn’t offer cornering lights. The 911 also has standard adaptive headlights to illuminate around corners automatically by reading vehicle speed and steering wheel angle.
The 911’s sun-visors swivel front-to-side to block glare from the side windows. The MCPura’s visors are fixed into the windshield header.
The 911’s power mirror controls are mounted on the armrest for easy access. The MCPura’s power mirror controls are on the dash where they are possibly hidden by the steering wheel and are awkward to manipulate.
When the 911 is put in reverse, the passenger rearview mirror tilts from its original position. This gives the driver a better view of the curb during parallel parking maneuvers. Shifting out of reverse puts the mirror into its original position. The MCPura’s mirror doesn’t automatically adjust for backing.
Optional air-conditioned seats in the 911 keep the driver and front passenger comfortable and take the sting out of hot seats in Summer. The MCPura doesn’t offer air-conditioned seats.
On extremely cold winter days, the 911’s standard heated steering wheel provides comfort, allowing the driver to steer safely and comfortably before the car heater warms up. The MCPura doesn’t offer a heated steering wheel.
The 911 (except Manual/GT3)’s optional Active Parking Support can parallel park or back into a parking spot by itself, starting, stopping and changing direction automatically. Optional Remote ParkAssist will park and retrieve your car remotely: press a button and watch it park itself. This is ideal for tight locations. The MCPura doesn’t offer an automated parking system.
