The Macan Electric can travel with zero emissions for 290 to 332 miles (dependent on model). The Grand Cherokee can’t move without running its internal combustion engine.

Regenerative brakes improve the Macan Electric’s fuel efficiency by converting inertia back into energy instead of wasting it. The Grand Cherokee doesn’t offer a regenerative braking system.

The Macan Electric has a standard locking charge port, which locks and unlocks with the power locks. The fuel filler door is not lockable on the Grand Cherokee. A locking charge port prevents tampering and damage; a locking fuel door helps prevent fuel theft and vandalism, such as sugar in the tank.

The Grand Cherokee Summit’s automatic parking system requires operating the brakes and transmission to safely park and it doesn’t offer remote control parking.
